WOMEN'S SELF DEFENSE
$150 Per Person
This course is an 8 hour course that is broken into four 2 hour segments. Each segment will focus on a different aspect of surviving different encounters.

Psychology and Physiology

This first segment focuses on the body’s built-in reactions and what will happen when faced with a survival encounter.

Participants will learn from a Police Use of Force instructor different ways to control your body’s reactions.

Participants will also learn about different Self Defense tools available to the general public and how they work.

Workplace Harassment

This segment will focus on the different hazards at work from customers to coworkers, all the way up to supervisors

Participants will learn to recognize gangs and predators' places and how to combat them.

Participants will learn how to break wrist holds and grabs that can occur in these encounters.

Surviving active assaults

This segment will focus on surviving an active assault encounter.

Participants will learn how to throw defensive counter strikes such as kicks and punches. Participants will also learn takedowns to neutralize a threat.

Participants will learn target areas to focus on and what works best for them to navigate an encounter.

Surviving active assaults with weapons

This segment will focus on the most dangerous aspect of an encounter. Surviving a weapon encounter.

Participants will learn how to recognize, avoid, and block encounters with knives and how to disarm the threat.

Participants will also learn how to disarm and defend themselves from assaults with a firearm and other weapons.
